With the death of J. I. Packer on Friday 17th July 2020, I thought I’d share a lecture of his.
It was given in Cardiff in 1991 and it’s about the subject of hell. It’s not an easy topic, and one that we often feel pressure to water down. But Packer has none of it. The lecture is an hour and a half long, but I’ve never heard anything like it. I listened to it while doing an outdoor job in York, and still remember being spell-bound by it. It would be well worth your time to listen to it, and would give fresh perspective on why Jesus Christ is so important. Highly recommended.
